STARS & STRIPERS
A community-supported non-profit fishing event for disabled veterans and their families on the Chesapeake Bay
2020 EVENT CANCELLED
The 2020 Stars & Stripers Fly Fishing event is cancelled.
Our first responsibility is a safe, fun day on the Bay for Project Healing Waters anglers.
But because of COVID-19 we cannot gather dozens of veterans and volunteers together and guarantee everyone’s safety.
Many of our anglers and volunteers are at significant risk because of health and disability issues, and the communities in which they live or receive care. A number of folks have already withdrawn to protect their own at-risk family members.
We’ve considered alternatives. But no plan can remove the risks, however small.
Because we have a duty of care to protect our disabled veterans, we made the call to cancel.
Now we’re already planning for the 2021 Stars & Stripers.
Stay safe, be well, and we'll see you soon.
OUR 10TH ANNUAL STARS & STRIPERS WAS A GREAT DAY!
...we hope to see you again in 2021

Where are we fishing?
We fish on the Chesapeake Bay for striped bass (or Rockfish to the Marylanders), bluefish, spanish mackerel, white perch and even the occasional sea trout
The action is non-stop when 'schoolies' are breaking the surface...
We are supported by dozens of professional guides and local fishermen who donate their time and expertise to help our cause. Contact us directly if you'd like to fish with one of our friends
